This section was written to fulfill assignments and projects for classes taken through Portland Community College.

All the classes specified that projects and assignments would be graded using Internet Explorer version 6.0. for Windows; therefore, all of these pages will render correctly using IE 6.0 for Windows. Most of these pages will also render correctly using Firefox version 1.5.0.1 for Windows.

These pages made up my original public website. Originally written for myself and a few interested friends, the pages rendered as designed only with the Safari version 312.3.3 browser.

Since taking classes and purchasing a Windows laptop, I now try to write pages that have some degree of cross browser/platform compatibility. These pages now will also display as designed using Internet Explorer version 6.0, and Firefox 1.0 for Windows, as well as Opera version 7.54u1 for the Mac.

Using an old version of a main stream browser or an unusual browser to view my site may render junk! This site (except this page) requires a CSS2 compliant browser for proper rendering. Attempts, as noted above, to write cross browser compatible pages and learn cross browser writing technique has been reasonably successful; however, updating this site for use with old versions of the popular browsers and the less popular browsers remains on my “to do” list.
